It's called Kangkung Cottages have a look at this link for more info http://www.baliblog.com/travel-tips/bali-daily/road-trip-with-miguel-to-karangasem-bali.html - it's quite a simple place without a restaurant but it's nice and quiet. It also costs around $20 a night with breakfast (they only serve breakfast, nothing else!!). As far as houses go, have a look at this post I did a while back - www.livebali.net/2011/04/renting-house-appartment-in-bali.html - it has some useful links and info. Cheers.
